Wat ga je doen

In this position you are responsible for business development and strategy for the lube oil additives. You formulate the strategy and identify, evaluate and structure the key transactions to ensure continued financial health and maximum value creation through the entire product life cycle.

You define the market position of a product group or brand within the overall product strategy global. As well as taking the product to market this role is also responsible for ensuring that the product meets the needs of the market. You also develop a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at business sector events all over the world.

Doing so you continuous are looking for improvements and you are responsible for identifying and resolving non-compliance with the organization’s policies and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.

The team

You will be part of the commercial team within our LAC (Lube Oil Additives and Chemicals) business unit. You report to the VP LAC.

As a person you are someone who keeps their commitments and keeps stakeholders informed of the process and progress. You are highly communicative, hands-on and are someone who can work independently. You also work well together and like variety.

What else do you bring:

  • master’s degree or equivalent level
  • proficiency in English, both written and oral is essential
  • excellent communication skills and cross collaboration spirit
  • willingness to travel about 30% of the time worldwide
  • chemical background is big plus
