Wat ga je doen

As our Marketing & Communication Specialist you play a critical role in executing and elevating core marketing activities that directly impact brand visibility and business support. This position ensures continuity in foundational marketing execution while supporting the organization’s regional expansion and evolving digital strategy.

Your main task will be the logistic and on-site support coordination for internal and external customer events in Europe, Middle East and North and South America. To this end, you liaise extensively with internal colleagues from various departments to ensure that matters are properly coordinated and to make sure that we maintain our brand consistency.

You will also work on the creating and managing of visual assets including presentations, brochures, booth graphics, flyers, GIFs, and videos. You will design content for digital channels including LinkedIn and the company website and you responsible for maintaining our branding templates and advertising materials. 

But that's not all. In this multifaceted role you will also be working on digital communication, including SEO, website maintenance, and performance tracking. Furthermore you analyze customer data, lead digital campaigns and optimize search performance, including emerging AI-driven search tools.

The team

The marketing team for Lube Oil Additives and Chemicals (LAC) consists of 4 people. The Marketing Manager and three employees. One employee, who is mainly focused on the Asian market is working from Singapore. The rest of the team is working in Echt, The Netherlands.

Wat je meebrengt

We are looking for someone who is proactive and truly passionate about the profession. It is important that you can work accurately and are detail oriented. You pick things up quickly, can work well independently, but have the courage to ask questions if you cannot work something out. Furthermore, you can easily switch between different tasks and keep the overview. You are curious, you like to come up with new ideas, and you are patient.

What else do you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or 2/3 years experience in a similar role;
  • A good command of the English language, spoken and written but you also speak Dutch fluently;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office;
  • Experience with digital and AI tools and platforms is a plus;
  • Strong communications skills;
  • Digital marketing expertise (SEO, CRM analytics, campaign management) is also a plus;
  • Ability to support future strategic directions in technical/product marketing and customer experience marketing.
