As our head of digitalization, you will be responsible for the future IT landscape within BRB. You understand our strategy and see what system optimizations we need to achieve our target growth goals. In addition, you will manage our existing IT team and you will be able to make the shift from reactive to more proactive and you can ensure more interaction between the IT team and the rest of the organization.
In this role you will participate in the strategic development of BRB and translate the needs into a digital strategy and roadmap – taking into account and inspiring the BRB stakeholders of fit for purpose solutions which are available in the market. You have a customer focus (external and internal) within an international environment. You make yearly plans to implement the strategy, monitor the budget and manage the roadmaps taking into account all necessary compliance (cybersecurity, availability, etc).
Furthermore you wil govern and steer the implementation of BRB digital strategy, roadmap, framework and policy while complying to applicable countries statutory requirements. You are responsible for ensuring the sustainability of third party operations, integrity and reliability of the IT services.
As an experienced digitalization manager, we don't need to tell you further what the work entails. However, it is important to mention what makes this position unique!
Among other things, this is the situation in which you will be working. On the one hand part of a large international and listed company like PETRONAS, but on the other hand part of a smaller international company that functions more like a family business. Part of your job is to connect the two and get both sides on board.
With the acquisition by PETRONAS, a huge growth strategy has been agreed upon, accompanied by large investments. You are closely involved in writing the IT business cases and and responsible for the IT budget.
Postion within the company
This role falls directly under our CFO, Heidi Janssens. You will be our sole head of digitization and will lead our IT team in this role. You will also collaborate extensively with other departments and our branches around the world, as well as PETRONAS.

Masters degree or equivalent level;
At least 10 years of experience within the scope of digitalization;
Proficiency in English, both written and oral is essential; knowledge of the Dutch language is beneficial;
